What We Do
Project Read is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for adults to improve their reading and/or speaking skills.
This year Project Read celebrates its 30 year anniversary. Project Read is committed to promoting literacy throughout Madison County.
Who We Serve
Anyone who is at least 16 years old and is not enrolled in a formal classroom program is eligible for tutoring. All services and materials are free to the students.
14% of working-age Kentuckians have virtually no literacy skills?
Over 1/3 of working-age Madison Countians cannot improve their personal or professional lives because of low literacy skills?
