From Pi Beta Phi:
We are hosting a literacy fundraiser on Sunday, September 20th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Charming Charlie in Lexington Green. Charming Charlie is going to donate 10% of the sales that afternoon to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation Literacy Fund, which will benefit Project Read through a Local Impact Grant.
Through Local Impact Grants, our alumnae club can nominate 25% of the funds raised be designated to a local nonprofit organization with a mission or special focus on literacy (in this case, Project Read). The 25% will be matched by the Pi Beta Phi Foundation dollar for dollar. Here is a link to the website that has more information: https://www.pibetaphifoundation.org/localimpactgrants
